A handwoven Aït Bou Ichaouen kilim from Morocco's eastern High Atlas, built as a continuous succession of horizontal bands in saturated red, fuchsia, orange, and ivory, alternating fine flatwoven stripes with densely brocaded panels of diamonds, zigzags, and hooked motifs in polychrome wool. The composition is characteristic of the Aït Bou Ichaouen tradition — narrow stripes stacked tight against wide patterned bands, every transition a different rhythm, the entire field reading as a single layered sequence rather than a structured grid. Tightly flatwoven, lightweight, and reversible, with hand-tied multicolor fringes at both ends. Suited to a living room floor, sofa drape, or full wall installation.
