A handwoven Azilal runner from Morocco's High Atlas, set on a soft rose-pink wool ground and divided into horizontal registers by ivory bands, each register populated with a different motif vocabulary — bowtie figures, stacked diamonds, X-form glyphs, and floating lozenges in saffron, indigo, emerald, coral, and ivory. The piece reads as a vertical sampler of Berber symbol work, every band a different chapter. Plush hand-knotted pile, hand-tied tassels at both ends, and a narrow runner format suited to hallways, kitchens, and bedside placement where a lift of warm color does the work.
