A handwoven vintage Glaoua kilim from Morocco's High Atlas, built as a continuous succession of horizontal bands in saffron, brick red, indigo, ochre, and ivory, each band carrying its own woven vocabulary — diamonds, zigzags, hooked motifs, and stepped lozenges in fine brocaded relief. The Glaoua tradition combines flatweave ground with raised pattern bands, producing a textile that reads as both stripe-work and intricate sampler at once. Tightly woven, lightweight, and reversible, it works equally as a floor covering, a sofa throw, or a full-length wall installation where the band rhythm becomes the composition.
